Rdots is a static website: it does not use cookies, does not install tracking or analytics tools, and does not collect data through forms. This notice, provided under Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), explains what personal data we process, why, and for how long.

This website does not use cookies of any kind (neither technical, analytics nor profiling cookies), does not store any information in your browser, and does not embed traffic analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising pixels, maps, videos or social media widgets. That is why there is no cookie banner.
The fonts used for the design are hosted on our own server and are not loaded from external services (e.g. Google Fonts).
To show you the site in the most suitable language, when you open the first page your browser compares the preferred language you have set with the languages available (Italian and English). This check runs entirely on your device: the information is not sent to us or to anyone else, is not stored and does not require cookies. You can switch language at any time with the IT/EN selector.
As with any website, the server hosting this site automatically records certain technical data with every request (log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page or file requested, response code, referring page and browser/operating system type.
This data is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf solely to keep the site running and secure (e.g. preventing abuse and cyber attacks), on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not used to identify or profile visitors and is kept for a limited period, unless needed to investigate computer crime.
This website has no contact form: the contact details on the page (email and phone) open your own mail client or phone app directly. If you choose to write to or call us, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, company, message content and any attachments) solely in order to:
Providing your data is optional, but we cannot reply without it. Please do not send us special categories of data (e.g. health data) unless strictly necessary.
Data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact. If your request leads to a professional engagement, data is kept for the duration of the engagement and thereafter for the periods required by law (e.g. 10 years for accounting and tax records under Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
Your data is not disclosed publicly, sold or passed on to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR), by Hostinger (Hostinger group, established in the European Union), our website hosting and email service provider, and, where an engagement follows, by our accountant/tax adviser. It may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
Hostinger may use data centres and sub-processors located outside the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer only takes place with appropriate safeguards under Arts. 44–49 GDPR (a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).
This website contains a plain link to our LinkedIn page. No data is sent to LinkedIn when you visit our site: only if you click the link will you be taken to an external website, which is subject to its own privacy policy and for which Rdots is not responsible.
At any time, by writing to info@rdots.it, you can exercise your rights under Arts. 15–22 GDPR:
We will reply without undue delay and in any event within one month of your request. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR).
